This policy will take effect upon acceptance and payment – ensuring their coverage remains uninterrupted. They must make a payment or the current policy will expire at the end of the term.

The most important document in the renewal mailing is the instruction sheet for how to make a payment on the renewal offer. It’s a blue sheet to view an example of the offer packet insert.[/sg_popup] at the top of the stack. It includes the policy number and a verification code needed to make a payment on a secure website.
Other documents include a cover letter, formal Non-Renewal Notice (most states), and an Important Notice which details differences between the expiring policy and the coverage in the policy offer. Depending on the policy, there may be one or more forms that need a policyholder signature. Those can be mailed back to us or the policyholder can electronically sign them online at the same site used to make their initial payment.
The packet will also include the usual legal language needed to define the policy’s terms and conditions.

Payment on the expiring policy will not be automatically withdrawn and applied to the policy offer. Your policyholder will need to make the initial payment and re-enroll for automatic payment withdrawals.
